Spectacles with oval, square, or hexagonal lenses that will fit with the mid
1800'sSpectacles with straight or curved earpieces, as long as they have the proper lens size and style are acceptable. Early pairs with adjustable earpieces are desirable.
Spectacles can be made of silver, gold, gold plate, german silver, etc.
We will buy individual pieces or collections.
Pre-1840 spectacles with wide temples are desired for my collection. Those pairs marked with a makers name, real gold or silver, engraved with the owners name, etc cann fetch a premium price.
Also period eyeglass cases, tin, steel, mother of pearl inlay, ornate or plain.
