Confederate First National Flag, Original
Seven Star Design, 3' X 5', Sewn cotton or nylon.

Confederate Battle Flag or Banner, This banner was introduced by the
Army of Northern Virginia shortly after the battle of Manassas. With the American
Flag and the Confederate States flag appearing similar at great distances, the
ANV adopted this banner to carry along with their National and State flags in
order to deliniate themselves as the Southern Army in order to avoid confusion
among friendly forces.
We have this flag available in three different sizes. The Cavalry used a 32"
X 32" Flag, Artillery used a 38" X 38" Flag, and Infantry used
the largest size of 52" X 52". All are appropriate to use in reenacting
the ANV.
Similar Square flags were also used by various other state forces, usually with
their own state markings. (These are also available, please inquire)
These flags are available in an authenticly made sewn cotton as well as a sewn nylon ( for durability). Prices are the same for either style.

Confederate Battle Flag, Later Version, 3' X 5', Sewn Cotton or Nylon.
This is the variety that was not used during the Civil War, but was adopted
after the conflict as a "prop" flag for many uses including the SCV
and as a contrast to the US flag in references to the conflict between the North
and The South.
These flags are in no way being sold for any purpose other than to folks wishing
to promote Southern Pride and /or Heritage. Not for use as an Authentic Civil
War Flag.
